Many years are gone since the Plant VW Westmoreland has closed in 1988. How´s looking there today??? Sony is the owner of this beautiful place! We never forget!

Im Juli 1988 wurde das US-Werk in Westmoreland (Pennsylvania) aufgrund eines Konzernvorstandsentscheids vom November 1987 geschlossen. Die Kapazitätsauslastung überzeugte nicht mehr und ein Auflaufen weiterer Verluste sollte gestoppt werden. Die Baulichkeiten übernahm im Oktober 1990 der Bundesstaat Pennsylvania
